An actor from my series EFZ, hasnt contacted me back for quite a long time(nor a "yes" or a "no" just no response) and it is holding up the production at this point of the first episode - I have set out to work with a cast of TEN voice actors which i find very exciting and i understand the waiting is part of it.

so now i am torn about how to react - i was hoping for some response from some other animators who have a lot of experience with voice actors.

I feel awful recasting but i guess my question is, how long do you guys wait with no response before recasting? two months...three..?

I completely realize that Actors need ample time to record the lines - but that's not what i'm talking about here - i'm just talking about hearing back at all - just basic confirmation of involvement in the project

do you recast at all? - i don't want to harass anyone with messages either...

(i recall someone having a question about this kind of etiquette with handling actors and such but i cant recall who it was)

So any tips or bits of experience would be appreciated having to do with recasting or waiting on lines! thanks - i'm truly 50 - 50 at this point

May be looking for a voice actor to take the Lead Role In EFZ.
The current voice actor hasnt responded to me in over a month..so.

IS anyone/ can anyone recommend a good voice actor for a 16 yr old kid?
