I'd say Mac for programming/animating, but a PC would still be great.. I'm a PC user myself, but I only do high end gaming, never done programming or animating of any sort lol
I use a mac, and am also taking graphic design! i don't know about you but in my program a lot of the teachers are saying Flash is on its way out. I humbly disagreed because they didnt seem to realize what a lot of animators are doing with it. they were shocked to see i would even attempt a frame by frame animation in flash o_O
teachers mostly say flash is on its way out as far as ads and effects are concerned. but it will remain purely off of its 2d character animation skills.
now that i am balls deep in after effects i realize how powerful it is - still i would rather use flash to do character animations!

I used to use pc, but it got so crap and couldn't run my animations anymore so i now have a macbook pro like you!!!! :))))))) (and it's a buzillion times better, no problems whatsoever)
Also thats bullshit about SEEMING like a pc or mac user, how is someone gonna tell that? thats internet racism right there or more accurately, prejudice. seriously that is the most vacuous thing i have heard today and i'm pretty unjustly angry about it ha.
