If you change you're name, you're sort of starting from scratch and have to build up the name again. 'RedHarvest' is pretty recognized already on NG, so I'd say stick with it, unless you want to drastically distance your self from the work you've done so far.

Plus it's a good name :)

And at least it's better than Ockeroid :P No one can even pronounce that

You have to pm an admin and ask them to do it. But you have to have a good reason, and your account has to be decent enough that you can't just leave it and make a new one.
And the username you want has to have not been taken or an account that has essentially nothing on it and is inactive.

It's a little eccentric cause it has parenthesis, so ya know, ads to the Allure that is "RedHarvest (Not the book, The Man)
and then when people confuse you with the book, they'll continue reading and think "oh, this is something different from the book!"

Don't change your name dude. You have earnt a high reputation and as soon as you change your name, many, many people will not know who you are.
