although some people do animate full body,eg. drifts... ....ill think of more...

other people consentrate on just stick animations,
cause using stick figures make it alot easier to stuff like-
quick reaction movement, fluid animations (fluidanims, lol),and more time to do awesome effects...

but others find it to be the only thing to animate.
but like u mentioned.people that animate in that style go further with facials, hands, feet and even angles.

its just easier :P

im a personal fan of them XD

Its a style. I haven't personally posted stick figure flashes for the sake of posting that stlye but because I have no knowledge of figurative art or of drawing a human being. Majority of stick figure artist are self-taught and picking up animating body parts is a challenge, they focus more on that "effects" side rather than the aesthetics. This is what I think though...

i consider stick figure fights a misleading flash

I think using stick people makes it easier to focus on the choreography and flow of it. So generally I find that stick fighting scenes actually have alot of good pacing and rhythm to it. I think that 'animating them' normally usually becomes a buzzkill to some people because you get caught up in the mechanics of keeping your figures visually consistent and stuff. Whereas as a stick, theres more freedom from that.

I think stick fight scenes are fun and provide good practice in working out difficult action sequences, but i wouldnt really ever want that to be my calling card.
