So recently I have been feeling very ....entrepreneurial mostly because of NBC's Shark Tank
So I was thinking of taking some legitimate time to start an independent flash game studio with a site and everything( perhaps doing some smart phone games as well?) - I'll buy up the domain name and we'll see what we can do. I just graduated So i will probably start working full time soon - but i'd love to try this as a sort of part time thing - I was thinking of looking for some of the other positions locally by me in mpls through craigslist or something - but figured i'd throw it by newgrounds first.

Some other places in the team would be:
-Lead programmer as2 or as3(front end web dev as well)
-Conceptual designer / secondary artist ( perhaps taking over web dev if they know the code)
-musician/sfx (this would likely be outsourced though)

So if your an artist or level designer or programmer let me hear from ya, would you like to consider joining the idea? hit me!

Newgrounds Redesign!

yes i know it's a bit late to review on the fp - but i really just don't have a whole lot of criticism for it! It took me a little while to get used to the loudness of the visual style vs the old design - but by now it's become normal to me again -

there is just ONE thing i would like to see added in - - I love how they added in the Artist names on the FP movies and game posts - but when you go to the "movies" tab to see the "latest" or "greatest" you get no artist names..which i think would really benefit from having them (also when viewing the classic portal - those rollovers would be nice )

and for anyone who cares - there has been a bit of a lull in production for EFZ Vol2 but it is well on its way with all the sound mixing, animatics and backgrounds DONE! ( screen cap of a few of the animatics below)

I know i am a little late to the party with the redesign thoughts but that's because i really havent had any qualms with it!

I will say that just as a person in general i am horrible with dealing with changes to things so i haven't been visiting Newgrounds nearly as much as i normally used to pre-redesign (which was basically like...many many times a day)

but i've started getting acclimated to the new look and feel - and it really IS awesome!

The ONLY thing i think i would like is those floaty tags that used to appear in the portal when you rolled over submissions - -telling you all the collaborators and the score (it'd even be nice to have names on the icons on the front page!)

but yeah! the thing looks awesome! and i fucking LOVE the project system and how nice it looks like API will be

so i put up an offer to draw one of my favorite characters from my Series Echo Force Zero

So go take him on and see if you can draw him! if anyone tries i will probably feature it in the next episode

so me and my buddy Letovox of Edwin fame,( and a few of my vids)-- are hitting up comic con in a big way - - and seeing as we are both recent college grads and all around alcoholics...WE WANNA PARTY...so if you are going to san diego comic con...COMMENT and we can all get together and do a bar crawl or something.....we'll will be drinking heavily no matter what...

but on another note.

people seem to critique projects that creators take more seriously , more seriously ...and with much more scrutiny - - i have spent literally a week on something that is ultimately...trite..and it does well ...but some things i have spent months on receive much harsher reviews. and i have noticed this with tons of different submissions on the portal & i find i way interesting - - -any thoughts?

so yeah folks - - i'm serious - - me and leto will be hitting the bars hard when we hit san diego so why not come storm em with us!
