all the original actors are back and they have turned in gold!

i will be mixing the lines together in garage band ( sfx, bg noise, music scouting, levels, ect..) probably for about the next two weeks - - then animation begins

AWW YEAH

as i think every animator here will agree - we started learning flash because..it's fun to create your own cartoons!

but i also think we will agree, there are times in flash where you feel a serious lack of will to continue - -recently i've been asking myself that a lot and reminding myself that animating really is FUN

when i look back on projects i really DO say - - "man that was a lot of fun and i learned a lot" (or something to that effect) and it's really only DURING the process that i am pulling my hair out.

but in the end i really do enjoy the process of animating - and just creating something from nothing - i love the feeling of wrapping something up and sending it out into the world

so here's the question

what in animation do you think is fun? what do you take enjoyment from when you are animating copious amounts of content? or simply - what makes it all worth while?

i'm working on something for pico day so that will probably be the next time you see something from me in the portal

so i took december off of animating to wait for the new EFZ lines to roll in - -

january has begun and the EFZ process begins again! - no doubt it will be something like a matter of months till the next release

but in the mean time i can't just NOT submit something....

i have a game in the works for late march but other than that....nothing

i really would like to do a small collab or something!

oh well...for now i will just continue to work on ....stuff

AH YES - - tis true, i will be heading to San Diego in july for Comic Con!

As a sort of combination Christmas and graduation gift, my parents got me (going to get me, because the tickets aren't out yet) a ticket to Comic Con and are gonna pay for my Airfare as well!! (which i was sorta in a panic about paying for) so i couldnt be more happy about that SHIT - me and my buddy LetoVox are both gonna take this trip head on and get to some awesome raging.

one question - - is it true that Newgrounds will put up any of its community in a combined super Newgrounds party hotel? haha...who knows on that one...

so anyways yes - - i'm obviously very excited, since i've wanted to hit this up for YEARS - -
So yeah - hopefully i can meet a bunch of newgrounders and party with everyone - - i'll buy you a shot

the only bummer for me is that i used to have a username and a few submissions back then that i would LOVE to see - - but i forgot my username...FUCK - - i cant believe i actually read huge flash books to learn macromedia flash......i would never do that now.(thats what youtube is for)

But speaking of learning new stuff - - i took a class this semester - FIRST TIME ever touching cinema 4D
and i had BEYOND SO MUCH FUN with that shit - - i just graduated from college and just because of that class i am considering going to grad school to do some serious shit with 3d animation...i mean...why should it be SO lofty a dream to model optimus prime?

so anyways - heres what i made - there are lighting glitches that i never solved...and after i turned this project in...i frankly never wanted to look at it again - - SO in the next one - there wont be those glitches

ECHO FORCE ZERO: Vol1 is complete! **yeehhh** **YAH!** **they took errr jehbbbss**

I am Really pleased with how it turned out - - I am classifying it as an "Adventure Drama"as far as genre goes - - so while it centralizes around a hostile takeover, its more about the characters and stories, than the actual fights - - i know it won't be for everyone, but for those who like this kind of thing i think it delivers pretty well

So the whole thing is just sitting on my computer ready to GO! i am really hoping to release it today or tomorrow...or the next day - - i am just waiting on Tom to get back to me concerning a small detail - so hopefully he will read this and get back to me!

Also - i am going to doing a guest interview on Voice Acting Radio They do a lot of great interviews - - i am guessing i will be talking more about the process of working with and integrating voice actors - - so that will be on Dec8

Game Jam 6!

Some people like the random teams, some don't - - i personally like it a lot and i think it embodies the idea of the challenge more. I've gone from creating a whole game with a random team - - to having my random team crash and burn - and i think thats all a part of it

so yeah, amped for that shit this weekend

I will be recording my lines for the NG figure voice contest - tonight or tomorrow! -- i really love the art that some awesome artists laid down for this so i am really hoping to be cast in this (hopefully in the JURNK role)

and lastly - - Alice in Wonderland, the new tim burton/ johnny depp one....didnt love it...BUT

i just LOVE the chesire cat in it - and i think it's got to be one of my favorite voice roles in a movie/ show i can think of--the actor brings such a creepy/mysterious low end to the role that makes it so fun to watch him - - " THE.. ALICE??"...love that line

i'm sure Toms PM box is full and hasnt seen my message yet - so i am waiting fro a reply until i release the First Echo Force Zero

So Echo Force Zero Vol1 drops next week!! full 11 minutes - complete with a medal and a custom made credits song - i'm really hoping people like it - as i've worked harder on this than anyother flash project ive done
